Gatukamp i Nordirland och gerillaaktioner i Indien och Norra Kurdistan

Indien: Natten till idag genomförde kämpar ur Folkets Befrielsegerillaarmé en aktion i Dantewada-distriktet i delstaten Chhattisgarh. Kamraterna attackerade en anläggning tillhörande ett statligt gruvbolag i syfte att konfiskera sprängmedel, eldstrid utbröt med de tungt beväpnade säkerhetsvakterna och en del fordon sattes i brand. I nuläget är det oklart huruvida maoisterna fick med sig det de sökte eller ej.
Norra Kurdistan: Det Kurdiska Folkets Försvarsstyrkor, vilket är den PKK-ledda nationalistarméns officiella namn, har publicerat en redogörelse för aktioner som man genomfört under de senaste dagarna, vi publicerar nyhetsbyrån Firats sammanfattning nedan:

"Defence Forces of the Kurdish People HPG sources reported that 4 JITEM members scouting in Catak district of Van province were killed in two different ambushes on 10 July.

Reprisal in Pervari

It is also reported that Kurdish Women’s Army YJA Star guerrillas attacked an armoured military vehicle carrying 7 military personnel in Pervari district of Siirt on 11 July. However, due to clashes broke out after the ambush the losses of the Turkish army has not been confirmed. The ambush was reprisal against the attack of the Turkish army in which several guerrillas have lost their lives.

Petrol station attack in Cukurca

HPG also claimed responsibility for the attack against petrol station in Cukurca district of Hakkari which was providing the army with petrol. While no one was hurt in the sabotage, the station was completely destroyed.

Ambush in Varto

HPG released the details of the ambush in Varto district of Mus which was carried against the District Security Directorate. It is stated that HPG guerrillas seized a car belonging to an AKP member which was used for the attack. As a result one police has been killed and 3 others were injured.

Forest fire in Haftanin

HPG reported that following mortar shell and howitzer attacks of yesterday by the Turkish army on Haftanin region Sesdara, Mêrgesisê, Kanisêvê, Alanis Vadisi ile Alanis, Ava Gûzê and Lawikê Xerip hills caught fire.

Turkish Army withdraws

HPG stated that the operation by the Turkish army in Eruh district of Siirt was ended and the soldiers withdrew from Çiyayê Cina, Gunde Çiyayê Lodê und Pivaz hills."
